Counting those which matter

The tiring, mind spinning, stressful days like the ones I have been experiencing recently need a healing touch.

I was straining to find some soothing words somewhere out there and realized.. it lay right inside of me.This beautiful post reminded me that the best way to drive away the negatives in our lives is to cherish the positives some more.

So, here I am , listing all things that makes me feel blessed right now πŸ™‚

Early morning, I wake up to see the sweetest expression of life next to Paapu’s sleeping face.
———I am a mother.

In the midst of chaotic mornings, I manage to see my parents on the webcam..their affectionate faces and familiar smiles.
———I have happy, healthy parents. I have the technology to stay in touch.

Putting everything in place, as I rush to say bye to hubby heading to office, he bends down to plant a kiss on my head.
———I have love that lingers, in spite of everything else.

I sprint towards my car that waits to take me to my destination safely, as always.
———I have a faithful mode of transportation.

Office is a short drive from Home and the traffic is almost always light.
———I stay close to work. I enjoy my drive to the workplace.

A friendly team, familiar tasks and jobs, just enough challenges and responsibilities to keep it interesting.
———I have a job that I do not hate.

The familiar blog sites and my favorite people behind them, their words, the pictures and a gateway to feel another life.
———I have my own little virtual set of friends I cherish.

The mad dash towards the house soon after parking the car, in joyous anticipation of seeing my little baby after many hours.
———I have my loved ones to return to everyday.

The opening of the door and calling out for Paapu and her immediate happy squeal reaction with hurried crawling towards me.
———I have a fair share of PRICELESS MOMENTS.

The dinner preparation or stepping out to the nearest restaurant.
———I can make food or buy it when am hungry.

The weekend get-togethers, the talks and the laughs with the same set of people, most times.
———I have a bunch of caring people who I call ‘friends’.

Getting dressed up for occasions and blushing at some really sweet compliments.
———I have good looks and a decent figure.

Listening to opinions and voicing my own without fear.
———I am read. I can think straight.

Dancing like there is no tomorrow, singing to a friendly cheer, decorating a party hall, painting to replicate a beautiful scene.
———I have talents and opportunities to showcase them.

Tears welling up in the eyes and the swell in the throat at times.
———I feel. I care.

Take this up as a tag and write down your blessings. I assure it will make your day more brighter and bring on a smile. Because it just did, to me πŸ™‚
